Mark Tedford is a Christian familyman and self-made Tulsa businessman with over 30 years of experience building companies, creating jobs, and delivering results in the real economy.
As a conservative lawmaker, Mark helped pass the largest tax cut in state history, cracked down on illegal immigration in Oklahoma, and protected our conservative values.
Mark and his wife Kristin have been married since 1992 and raised four children in the Tulsa area. For decades, Mark has been deeply involved in his community, working alongside local leaders to support economic development and small businesses. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for Soldier’s Wish and a board member of Home Church.
Mark is running for Congress to put his 30+ years of free-market experience to work with President Trump to deliver an America First economy. He's spent his career solving real problems, balancing budgets, and fixing systems, and will bring that same approach to combatting illegal immigration, eliminating wasteful spending, rebuilding American industry, and championing our conservative family values.

State Rep. Mark Tedford Launches Congressional Campaign for Oklahoma’s 1st District
TULSA, Oklahoma - State Rep. Mark Tedford, a Republican Tulsa businessman, announced Wednesday he is running for the U.S. House in Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District after Rep. Kevin Hern said he would vacate the seat to run for Senate.
“First, I want to thank Congressman Kevin Hern and his wonderful family for their service to Oklahoma’s First Congressional District,” Tedford said. “I’m grateful for the leadership Congressman Hern has provided and for the way he has helped elevate Oklahoma’s conservative values on the national stage.”
Tedford said he plans to support United States President Donald Trump’s America First agenda while protecting Oklahoma jobs, defending the state’s energy industry and promoting fiscal discipline in Washington.
